Admin Team

Antonette Gouws is the administrator for both the SARChI Programme in ‘Local Histories and Present Realities’ and the History Workshop. She is responsible for the administration, finances and projects, visiting scholars, event coordination and student scholarship programmes in this unit.

Laurence Stewart is a researcher in the History Workshop. Having completed his masters on the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union in the North West in 2021, he has worked on various projects, exhibitions and conferences. He, together with members of the SHAP advisory team, has helped create the SHAP! website.
